Below are the words of Doug Wilson:
1. Pastor of a church in Moscow, Idaho
2. Christian Homeschool Press and Curriculum developer
3. Founder of a Christian college in Moscow, Idaho
That is a whole lot of influence. Knowing the influence he has amassed for himself, I have been paying attention to this institutional force for some time now.

Whether you go by the label complementarian, egalitarian, or Umm…what is happening? it is vital after after reading this absurd butchering of Paul’s teaching, to go back to Paul’s letters to first-century followers of Christ living in Galatia and Ephesus.
When someone leads with demeaning words and actions, no matter how much institutional influence or authority they have amassed for themselves, look at their fruit. If it is rotten, take to heart Paul’s words: “Therefore do not be associated with them.” In fact, the more institutional power they have, the more critical this becomes. The poison fruit of D.W. and his influence includes violence against women.
Letter to the Galatians, Chapter 5:22-25
22 By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, competing against one another, envying one another.
Letter to the believers in Ephesus (Ephesians Chapter 5:1&2, 9-11):
1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, 2 and live in love, as Christ loved us[a] and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light— 9 for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true. 10 Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
Also, for further study, read all of Paul’s letters to the church. Read ABOUT Paul’s ministry alongside of women (Prisca, Junia, Pheobe).
N.T. Wright has a lecture series on Paul’s missionary journeys and his letters that is a rich feast. You can watch those lectures here.
